Welcome
The Trustees’ twelve public gardens span the state of Massachusetts and reflects a unique blend of scenic beauty, vital ecologic habitat, historic character, and horticultural richness. They range in size from 0.5 to 165 acres, and extend across USDA Hardiness Zones 5b to 7b. Together, they offer a remarkable living collection that invites exploration, reflection, and inspiration.
This searchable portal provides access to information about the plants across these gardens—starting with five of the most fully documented. New data will be added and existing information updated as we continue to map and record the full breadth of the collection.
Use the Search tool to explore by common or botanical name, or filter by garden. The Browse feature helps you navigate alphabetically, while the Map lets you zoom in on each property and see individual plant locations.
Please note: the plants listed here are not for sale.
